Unique Perspectives have conducted national and regional surveys for Iarnrod Eireann to measure customer satisfaction in relation to rail services and to investigate issues of importance to the company in developing and managing its services. These surveys have included on-street surveys among the public and surveys conducted on board trains among travelling customers.

Mystery Shopping Research Campaign
The Liffey Valley Shopping Centre contains 8 separate food outlets –Approximately 30,000 customers pass through the Food Court every week, or the equivalent of 4-5,000 per day.
In conjunction with each of the individual food outlets contained within the Food Court the Customer Services division of Liffey Valley wished to implement a comprehensive mystery shopping campaign with a view to investigating and monitoring overall service quality within the Food Court, as well as specific to the individual food outlets.

Customer Satisfaction, Perception and Headcount Survey
The Customer Satisfaction and Perception Survey research was undertaken in Sligo to uncover customer’s shopping habits, the quality of services provided within the Retail Park, brand awareness and the public’s perception of advertising undetaken.
Sligo Retail Park also wanted to get an idea of the number of people entering the Retail Park. Our staff observed the amount of traffic and obtained the exact headcount of shoppers entering the parking areas and main entrances into Sligo Retail Park.

Customer Profile Research
This research was carried out in September 2008 was aimed to recognize current awareness and expectations of Blackrock shopping centre, customer shopping habits, brand awareness and general perception of the centre. Four researchers were positioned around entrances and exits to and from the centre. Two hundred surveys have been completed across three days.

Awareness/Perception Research
Unique Perspectives conducted a number of research surveys amongst UCD students on their level of awareness and perceptions of the services on offer by UNICARE. The findings from the surveys were used to develop and implement an effective marketing plan to directly target the students using formats which they could relate to.
Over the years awareness levels of UNICARE increased through the implementation of Awareness days where goodie bags containing free gifts from leading youth brands and key information on the services on offer from UNICARE, the distribution of keyrings, fridge stickers and promotional leaflets, Bin advertising in key areas where the students congregated and advertisements in the campus newspapers.
